I prison legal abuse?
I understand we have to do what we have to do and that thus far there really isn't a widespread alternative, but to me is seems like some of the things we do in there aren't right. Every prison is different but they all have some inhumane things going on. For example one that just kills me is solitary confinement. I know this is a great way to make sure prisoners don't go out and attack again throughout the prison but it may cause even more resentment towards guards and inmates causing another disturbance. At least change a few things, for example more alloted time out of their little box to work out, and shower, even some time in a guarded open space to simply read. It just makes me sick thinking about what they are going through psychologically in there. At one point I saw them escorting the inmate by a leash to the bathroom. Imagine how you would feel. I know I'm going to get many mixed answers but please don't vent about how they deserve what they get.
this one bothers me...to keep the inmates quiet and happy which also keeps guards safe inmates are allowed to watch cartoons....
