What is going wrong with my new bathroom faucet?
Just installed a new faucet for my bathroom sink. When first went to test it, the water pressure was fine but there was a slight leak underneath. (Seemingly from the drain and trap) Tightened things up underneath and tried again. Now the water pressure is almost nothing (only for the sink everything else is fine) and there is still a slight leak but nothing like it was before. Any suggestions?
I bet the aireater is clogged up. Look at the end of the spickett and there is a round thing you can unscrew. It is probably full of rust or whatever. Just rinse it out and replace it. should fix your pressure problem. You leak however might be a bad plastic ring in one of the pipe connections. Rather than just tightening them take them apart and make sure they are ok. Then reassemble snugly and try it again....should be fine. Hope I helped
